Accessibility statement
We aim at WCAG 2.1 level AA. Here is what that means in practice, and what we know is still imperfect.
What we have done
- Body text meets a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its background, and interface labels meet 3:1
- Every interactive control has a hit area of at least 44 by 44 pixels
- A visible focus ring follows keyboard navigation on every link, button and field
- Form fields have persistent labels rather than placeholder-only labels
- Animation, including the scrolling band and the background pulse, stops entirely when a device requests reduced motion
- Content is readable and usable without JavaScript, and without horizontal scrolling at 320 pixels wide
- Expandable sections, choice groups and status messages carry the ARIA roles a screen reader needs
What we know is imperfect
The site has been tested against automated checks and manual keyboard navigation, but not yet with users of assistive technology. Long data tables on the pricing and legal pages scroll horizontally inside their own container on small screens, which is usable but not ideal. We have not audited the generated PDF or email output to the same standard.
