Habitat

Interior studio · scroll-led 3D experience

An interior studio site where a raw architectural shell gains surfaces, furniture, lighting, art and planting as the visitor scrolls.

The brief

What it had to do.

Interior portfolios usually separate process from result. The brief was to make the transformation itself the navigation, so the visitor understands how an unfinished room becomes a home without leaving the opening sequence.

Design approach

The decisions behind it.

  • Warm bone and oak grounded by charcoal, with rust used as the single active colour
  • Oversized editorial typography balanced against a quiet architectural model
  • Four chapters—shell, materials, objects and feeling—mapped directly to the scene
  • Procedural geometry keeps the experience fast and art-directed without a heavy model download

Signature interaction

A room that resolves itself layer by layer

The fixed room assembles as the page moves: flooring and textiles arrive first, furniture scales into position, then lighting, art and planting complete the atmosphere while the camera makes one restrained orbit.

On a phone

Usable before anything loads.

On phones the same scene uses a clearer camera and vertical reading order. Reduced-motion users get immediate transitions and the entire story remains available as HTML.
