A neighbourhood salon with a price list you can tap straight into a booking, and a four-step widget that builds the appointment without leaving the page.
The brief
What it had to do.
Salon sites lose people between the price list and the booking system. The brief was one page where the service you read about is the service you book, with no third-party widget in between.
Design approach
The decisions behind it.
- Peach cream, rust and blush, with a high-contrast serif for the headlines
- Soft arches and ovals standing in for photography
- Service rows that double as the first step of the booking
Signature interaction
Booking flow that builds the appointment in four taps
Service, stylist, day and time are four taps. The summary updates after each one, Mondays are closed, taken slots are shown as taken, and confirmation returns a reference.
On a phone
Usable before anything loads.
The stepper goes full width and the slot grid drops to three columns on phones.
