A room planner that looks like software rather than a brochure: sidebar, inspector, and a living room that recolours the moment you pick a palette, with the shopping list totalling itself underneath.
What it had to do.
Interior apps tend to sell a feeling and hide the tool. The brief was the opposite: put the working product on the page, with real density, and let the palette change do the persuading.
The decisions behind it.
- An app shell with sidebar, top bar, workspace and inspector, at design-tool density
- Cool off-white ground with sage and oak, so the room's own colours are the only strong ones
- One SVG room driven by custom properties, so a palette change moves every surface at once
Signature interaction
Room that recolours with the palette you pick
Choosing a palette recolours walls, floor, sofa and rug together and rewrites the swatch strip. Toggling furniture hides it in the room and removes it from the shopping list, which keeps a live total.
On a phone
Usable before anything loads.
Panels stack into a single column on phones and the room keeps its aspect ratio.
